I prefer charcoal! I think it tastes better, and smells better too! I love when my dad cooks on the charcoal grill. It makes me miss summer time!
ReplyDeleteI also prefer the charcoal! My dad used to have one and it gave food better flavor.
ReplyDeleteYep, definitely charcoal! We make steak on it aaaall the time, and the steaks are delicious! Actually, we've even successfully grilled pineapples and other fruits on gas and charcoal ,but charcoal ones were the best hands down.
ReplyDeleteI usually prefer charcoal until I had the experience of using woodchips. I choose propane and to use woodchips to enhance the flavor in bbqing. Also woodchips alone in a smoker to slow cook over both propane and charcoal is the best. Brings out a more flavor, depending on what kind of woodchips are used.
ReplyDeleteI would prefer a charcoal grill, but often at my house we use our gas one! It is definitely more convenient to use when my mom cooks during the week and although it does not have that same taste like a charcoal grill, our burgers and steaks still come out really tasty! I love using our charcoal grill though for events like tailgating the Giants games!
ReplyDeleteThis year I experienced my first burger on a charcoal grill. I never realized how different it could taste. I actually prefer charcoal but it takes longer to get ready to cook and you have to wait for the coals to cool down after your finished. I think that gas grills are easier but taste very different. Your blog is making me hungry.
